AstroTech Training has been classified as a level 1 contributor which means that we are a 135 % contributor to BBBEE.

In terms of preferential procurement, its meant that any company who spends money with AstroTech can claim 135 % of the spend as opposed to 100 %. We are thus positioned and empowered to help our client improve their BBBEE rating.

If delegates are made up of PDI’s, then companies can claim double the benefit (skills development as well as preferential procurement).

SETA ACCREDITATION

AstroTech Training has been awarded Provisional Accreditation by the Services SETA. Accreditation Number: 3852

Companies making use of our training services can claim back on their Skills Development Levies in accordance with the Skills Development Levies Act. The SDL Act provides for recovery of the levy payment based on the submission of Workplace Skills Plans (WSPs), Workplace Skills Implementation Plans (WSIPs) and the submission of the names of skills development facilitators (SDFs), not on the basis of making use of accredited providers and NQF-aligned learning programmes."
