Any reference to “AstroTech”, “we”, “our” or “us” includes our employees, officers, directors, representatives, agents, shareholders, affiliates, subsidiaries, holding companies, related entities, advisers, sub-contractors, service providers and suppliers.
These Terms apply to any person who uses, accesses, refers to, views and/or downloads the information made available by us on the Website for whatever purpose (“Content“) (hereinafter referred to as “users” or “you” or “your“). Personal Data
We collect personal data from you. We will handle the collection, processing and storage of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy further described in our Privacy Policy.
During the course of your interaction on the Website and with AstroTech, you may be required to create a unique username and password and provide us with personal data. The processing of your personal data is in accordance with the aforesaid Privacy Policy. By disclosing or submitting your personal data to us, you consent to us collecting, processing and storing your personal data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree and warrant that:

AstroTech is a business in the services industry that provides corporate training & related services. - Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 5 days and purchase confirmed by way of confirmation of enrolment & payment - Cancellations and postponements policy
The provision of training services by AstroTech is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, AstroTech will refund the client in full within 30 days.
CANCELLATIONS:
A cancellation can only be confirmed if we are advised in writing at training@astrotechlearning.co.za:
- For cancellations received more than 7 calendar days prior to the course:
0% cancellation fee will apply. - For cancellations received less than 7 calendar days prior to the course:
50% cancellation fee will apply. - For cancellations received within 24 hours of the course:
100% cancellation fee will apply.
Substitutes are welcome at no additional charge at any time prior to the course.
POSTPONEMENTS:
Requests to postpone course attendance must be received in writing at least three full working days prior to the course commencement.
Should we not receive written confirmation within this period; the postponement will be subject to an additional fee of R1, 870.00 (excl. VAT) per delegate for courses that take place in Johannesburg or R3, 740.00 (excl. VAT) per delegate for courses that take place in Cape Town or Durban.
All course postponements or programme exchanges need to be utilised within 6 months of the original course booking or the course fee will be forfeited.
The original course invoice remains due and payable as at the date of the original course booked, even if you postpone or exchange your course.
Cancellations on postponements or exchanges are subject to the full course fee.
ABSENT DELEGATES:
In the event that a delegate does not arrive for the course and no written cancellation has been received and confirmed, the full course fee will be payable. Should an absent delegate wish to postpone to a future course date, the postponement will be subject to an additional fee of R1, 870.00 (excl. VAT) per delegate for courses that take place in Johannesburg or R3, 740.00 (excl. VAT) per delegate for courses that take place in Cape Town or Durban.
All pricing in these terms and conditions is valid for 2018.
- Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the AstroTech bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. - Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for AstroTech via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy. - Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by AstroTech separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za. - Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR). - Responsibility
AstroTech takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods. - Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and AstroTech chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, AstroTech, Block A, AstroTech Conference Centre, 2 Third Avenue, Parktown, 2193 . - Variation
